These terms of service ("Terms") apply to your use of the website at www.phillipselectrical.com.au ("Site"), operated by Phillips Electrical & Refrigeration (Phillips Electrical, "we", "us", "our") based in Echuca-Moama, Northern Victoria. By browsing the Site or submitting a quote request through it, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree with them, please don't use the Site.

1. Who we are

Phillips Electrical & Refrigeration is a licensed electrical, refrigeration, air conditioning and solar business operating in Echuca · Moama · Northern Victoria · Southern NSW. Our licensed electrician holds a current REC licence, and our refrigeration and air conditioning work is carried out under ARCtick certification.

2. Use of this website

The Site is provided for general information about our services, and to let you request a free, no-obligation quote. You agree to use the Site only for lawful purposes, and not to:

• attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Site, our systems or any related account
• submit false, misleading or malicious information through our contact or quote forms
• use automated tools to scrape, spam or overload the Site
• copy, reproduce or republish the Site's content for commercial purposes without our permission

3. Quotes are not a binding contract

Submitting an enquiry or quote request through the Site does not create a contract between us. It's the start of a conversation. A job only proceeds once we've confirmed the scope and price with you directly — by phone, in person or in writing — and you've agreed to go ahead. The actual electrical, refrigeration, air conditioning or solar work we carry out for you is governed by that separate quote or agreement, not by these Terms.

4. Pricing & payment

Quotes requested through the Site are free and come with no obligation. Any price we give you is confirmed in writing before work starts. We accept cash, credit card and bank transfer; any call-out or after-hours rate that applies will be confirmed with you when you book.

5. Cancellations & rescheduling

If you need to cancel or reschedule a booked job, please give us as much notice as you can by calling 0439 204 747. Any cancellation terms for a specific job will be set out in the written quote for that job.

6. Intellectual property

The Site's text, design, photography and logo are owned by Phillips Electrical & Refrigeration or used under licence, and are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may view and print pages of the Site for your own personal, non-commercial reference, but you may not otherwise copy, modify, distribute or reuse them without our written permission.

7. Third-party services & links

Quote requests submitted through the Site are delivered using Formspree, a third-party form service, and the Site loads fonts from Google Fonts. The Site may also link to third-party websites we don't control. We aren't responsible for the content, accuracy or practices of any third-party service or site — see our Privacy Policy for more on how third parties handle your information.

8. Warranties & disclaimers

We aim to keep the Site accurate and up to date, but we make no warranty that it is complete, error-free, or uninterrupted, and information such as pricing indicators or quote-tool estimates is general guidance only, not a fixed price. Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law in relation to the trade services we actually carry out for you — those apply regardless of anything said here.

9. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, Phillips Electrical & Refrigeration is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from your use of the Site, or from reliance on general information or quote-tool estimates published on it. This clause does not limit any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including under the Australian Consumer Law.

10. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify Phillips Electrical & Refrigeration against any loss, damage or claim arising from your misuse of the Site or your breach of these Terms.

11. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use and protect personal information submitted through the Site, and forms part of these Terms.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia, and you submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria.
